7 Women Give 7 Sermonettes for Faith’s Good Friday Service
For a second consecutive year, Faith hosted a Good Friday Service featuring seven women from the metropolitan Atlanta area giving seven sermonettes. The service is entitled, “A Woman’s Voice: He Walked With Me”. Women who delivered sermonettes last year served as scripture readers for this year’s service.

Buds of Promise Celebrate Marie L. Clinton Day
Pastor stands with Faith’s Buds of Promise in celebration of the life of Marie L. Clinton, founder of the Buds of Promise Juvenile Missionary Society. The Buds are a department within the Women Home & Overseas Missionary Society. The special day is recognized yearly on 4th Sunday in January. Gladys Reid is the local superintendent of Buds at Faith.
Ministry Fair Offers Opportunity for Members to Learn of Various Ministries
Faith held a Ministry Fair immediately following Sunday Morning Worship Service, January 16, 2011. Members had the opportunity to learn about the various ministry opportunities at the church and gave them the opportunity to sign up for ministries they were interested in.

Bishop Monroe Opens Georgia Annual Conference with Communion – October 2010
Bishop Kenneth Monroe, presiding prelate of the South Atlantic Episcopal District, AME Zion Church, opens the Georgia Annual Conference with a Communion Service. Faith served as host to this year’s conference, held October 6-10, 2010.

Monthly Worship Program
At the turn of the new year, Faith presented a monthly Worship Program, magazine style, for its members to bring to services throughout the month. The program is complete with readings, birthdays/anniversaries, devotionals, and sermon notes. Announcements are inserted. It is distributed monthly to members on the first Sunday.
