Faith Joins Denomination in Helping to Give Relief to Haiti
Faith AME Zion Church is responding to the recent tragedy in Haiti by joining with AME Zion churches worldwide in giving financial contributions to the denomination’s Haiti Crisis Relief Fund. Lenten Season 2010
Faith will celebrate the Lenten Season (February 17 – April 2) with a worship service every Wednesday evening at 7 pm. The services are titled the Seven Churches of Asia Minor Preaching Series. We will also have a Good Friday service (April 2) featuring seven women preachers from the metropolitan Atlanta area. The service, titled A Woman’s Voice: He Walked With Me, will give voice to seven women of the New Testament who had a transformational experience with Jesus during His three year ministry.

Christian Education Department Shares Christmas Joy During Morning Worship
The Christian Education Department presented a touching Christmas play during morning worship service Sunday, December 20, 2009. The play emphasized the true meaning of Christmas – CHRIST JESUS. Children, youth and adults participated as angels, wise men, drummers, and worshippers. Sis. Betty Stephens and Sis. Stephanie McGrady coordinated the play. Rev. Roseanna Brannon is chair of Faith’s Board of Christian Education.
Faith Feeds Nearly 50 Families for Christmas Through its Outreach Ministry
The Outreach Ministry at Faith organized a free Christmas Dinner for the surrounding community, Saturday, December 19, 2009. The church fed nearly 50 families. Through Faith’s outreach, one gave his life to Christ and another rededicated his life to Christ. Some of the families we reached also joined Faith for worship service the following day. The Community Dinner was coordinated by Jacqueline Herndon and Laura Heyward. The Director of The Outreach Ministry is Alfred McCrary.
Faith is Encouraged to Stay Spiritually Connected
Bishop Kenneth Monroe delivered a moving message on Faith’s 10th Anniversary and Homecoming Service held Sunday, November 8 , 2009. Bishop Monroe encouraged Faith to stay spiritually connected to God. A special Fellowship Program and Dinner followed the morning worship service. What a beautiful day it was!

Rev. Dr. Staccato Powell, our guest revivalist, allowed God to use him in a miraculous way during our 7 Days of Power Tent Revival held September 20-26, 2009 on the church parking lot. Dr. Powell is the pastor of Grace AME Zion Church in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Outreach Under the Tent
Faith members distributed snacks, bread, water, and hygiene items to the community every evening after Revival services.
Children Learn To Be Transformers
Pastor Love encourages children to be transformers for God on the last day of Faith’s I Am A Transformer Children’s Conference, held in June.
Outreach
Members reach out to the community by helping to distribute boxes of free food to families in need.
