Faith Joins Denomination in Giving Relief to Haiti
Faith AME Zion Church is responding to the recent tragedy in Haiti by joining with AME Zion churches worldwide in giving financial contributions to the denomination’s Haiti Crisis Relief Fund. Faith’s contribution efforts to Haiti extend also through its Women’s Home and Overseas Missionary Society (WHOMS). The WHOMS will host a week long drive to support emergency relief and recovery efforts to help those people affected by the earthquake in Haiti. Please bring DISINFECTANT WIPES, WET BODY WIPES, WET WIPES and PAPER GOODS to the church Sunday, January 17 – Sunday, January 24. Items will be delivered to Hosea Feed the Hungry to be included in their shipment to Haiti.

Faith Celebrates Lenten Season with a Preaching Series
Faith will celebrate the Lenten Season (February 17 – April 2) with a worship service every Wednesday evening at 7 pm. The services are titled the Seven Churches of Asia Minor Preaching Series.
Faith Celebrates Black History Month
Faith will celebrate Black History Month in a special Sunday service on February 28 – Heritage Sunday. All are asked to dress in African attire for morning worship service. A special program honoring and celebrating Black history will follow morning service.
7 Women, 7 Sermonettes on Good Friday
Faith will recognize Good Friday with a service entitled, “A Woman’s Voice: He Walked With Me”. Seven women preachers from the metropolitan Atlanta area will offer seven sermonettes for the service to be held, Friday, April 2 @ noon.
