A Servant is Called Home – June 20, 2014
Friday, June 20, 2014, family and friends of Sis. Georgia Adams Brown gathered at Faith A. M. E. Zion Church to celebrate the life of a dedicated servant. At nearly 103 years of age, "Mother Adams," as she was affectionately known, left a legacy of faith and love for all people.
Power Sunday – May 25, 2014
Presiding Elder, Rev. Jeffrey Tribble, gave a message to the congregation about church health focusing on stroke and Bro. Pauleon Phillips led the “Power Litany.” Both men stood in solidarity with Yolanda King, daughter of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Coretta Scott King, who conducted the first National Power Sunday church service in remembrance of her mother, Coretta Scott King, and others who have survived or died of stroke on May 6, 2007 in Atlanta, GA.
